The Aurum style was influenced by Villa Oro in Posillipo, Naples as built in 1934 by Italian architect Luigi Cosenza. Villa Oro is inspired by traditional Mediterranean architecture and the house is formed by white cubic boxes wedged into the hill and present period visions of the ideal Italian house.
The relation between the edifice and the wonderful landscape of the gulf, the clear and sharp articulation of the volumes, the interpenetration of inside and outside spaces, the structural and detailing solutions, are the best quality aspects that are concordantly recognized in the project of the house.
The Aurum style features cubic volumes with cuts-out that create sinuous lines once worn with sharply articulated volumes that highlight delicate curvatures.
